Warren Caldwell is a born and raised Richardson kid who threw a Richardson Daily News paper route, often on a unicycle. It was a magic time spent climbing on the rocket at Heights Park, eating at Pizza Villa and buying Beatles albums at Sound Town in Promenade Shopping Center. When we skinned our knee, we rubbed dirt into it and carried on.
A product of Richardson schools, for the last 15 years Warren has served as an independent Real Estate Broker and Realtor who operates his own firm, Homes North Texas. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin with a Business BBA.
Warren is the President of the Canyon Creek Homeowner’s Association, the largest voluntary HOA in Dallas/Ft. Worth. He is a Graduate of Inside RISD (Richardson Independent School District), the Richardson Citizen’s Police Academy, the Richardson Citizen’s Fire Academy and Leadership Richardson Class XXXII.
Warren currently serves as an Advisor and Curriculum Coordinator for Leadership Richardson. He also serves as a Director on the Board of the Richardson Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association.
He is very proud to be a Board Member of the Network of Community Ministries, an organization that responds to human need by giving short-term assistance (food, clothing, medical care, prescriptions, rent assistance, etc.) with the goal of helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency (counseling, job interview classes, etc). The Network provides a hand up, not a hand out and invests in Humanity, one human being at a time.
Warren participated as a member of a Strategic Action Team tasked to create a Plan to guide the Richardson Independent School District into the next decade. Warren also serves on the Business Program Advisory Committee at Richland College.
For many years, he has been deeply involved in the Boy Scouts of America having served in many different capacities including Quartermaster of a large Troop with gear in abundance. He served as an Adult Advisor on a lengthy Philmont Trek and Sea Base Voyage which proved to be incomparable Father/Son Experiences. Warren has been tapped out for Order of the Arrow and regularly Chairs Eagle Scout Review Boards.
Warren and his wife Laura recently celebrated their 30th Anniversary and have a son (Wyatt) who is an Eagle Scout and Fightin' Texas Aggie Engineering Student. The Caldwells share their home with 3 rescue dogs and a recalcitrant dratted one-eyed cat.
